Back to School: Smartphones

As summer comes to an end school starts up again. When school starts up again the only thing that gets me excited is all the back to school tech deals. Students who are looking for a cheap smartphone but can use in school came to the right place.

For the Android User

Moto G 4th Generation

With a starting price tag of $199 and an all day battery life, this is a perfect Android phone for a student. The phone is available in three models, the Moto G, the Moto G Play, and the Moto G Plus. All three phones are unlocked and available on all 4 major carriers. All the phones have an octa-core processor to have a fast experience and run multiple apps at a time. A 13 MP front-facing camera and a 5 MP selfie camera for all your selfie taking needs. Every phone has turbo-charging technology and the reason why I like motorola, pure, stock Android. Stock Android allows your phone to be updated fast since motorola doesn't have a custom skin over Android.

The Apple User

iPhone SE

The SE is apple's first device with a low price tag, the phone costs $399.99, if you think the phone is expensive there's an option where you can pay $13.30 a month until the phone is paid off. The phone is available in one model in 4 different colors, silver, gold, space gray and rose gold. The phone is available in two storage options, 16GB and 62GB. The phone is available on all 4 major US carriers and unlocked. For Specs the Phone has a 64 bit A9 chip with a M9 motion coprocessor, 12MP 4K shooting camera, 1.2MP selfie camera, and NFC chip for Apple pay, and 4in display. The reason why I recommend this phone is that it's basically an iPhone 6s Plus in a small device.

The Powerhouse

OnePlus 3

The OnePlus 3 has flagship specs with a low price tag. The phone costs $399 and available on T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. The phone is available only on a 64GB with an optional case for $25. The phone has a 5.5in display, running the latest version of Android, 16MP camera, 8MP Selfie camera, and NFC for Android pay. The phone has a fingerprint sensor and charges through USB-C.
