Qualcomm Wants to Ban iPhones and Halt Sales in the US

Qualcomm is making it's move in its fight against Apple, they're asking the US government to ban all iPhones coming in to the US and to hold all sales of the devices that entered. According to the chipset maker, Apple has infringed six patents that involve extending a device's battery life. Qualcomm actually made an infographic on how the patents are used in the devices.

Early in the year, when the battle of the two companies began, Apple sued Qualcomm for being over priced if a company wants to use these patents and that they are taking advantage that they are the biggest chipset maker in the mobile market. Apple continues to use Qualcomm without paying.

Qualcomm is trying to ban all iPhones from entering the country and to stop sales of any iPhones that entered the country that have Qualcomm technology. Stay tuned to see if the ban goes through.
