Andronium Superbook

If you guys haven't heard of this then you're going to thank me for introducing this to you. In the picture to your left what you see is a laptop with a Android phone plugged in. What if I told you that this laptop actually runs off of your Android smartphone. This is the Andronium Super book, the laptop that runs off off your smartphone.

The idea of a laptop running off of your smartphone is not a new idea actually. Infact, you might of heard of one of these two ideas, The Motorola Lapdock and Microsoft Windows continuum. A few years back, before Motorola was owned by Lenovo, the company introduced Lapdock for the Motorola atrix but a few years later said that they abandoned the software and the Lapdock in 2012. When Windows Phone 10 was introduced Microsoft also announced continuum. When your Windows phone 10 device gets plugged into a device it turns into a computer. This idea kinda failed because it only works on a few devices and Microsoft also laid off employees from the Windows Phone team.

The Superbook costs $99 and will be out February of 2017. The whole concept of the device is that it comes with a display, keyboard, multi-touch trackpad and an 8 hour battery. When an Android phone running Android 5.0 and over gets plugged in the device gets turned on and a laptop like software will appear.

The laptop runs on a software called Andronium and installing on your phone is as simple as downloading an an app from the Google Play store onto your phone.

The laptop is right now only available on kickstarter and available in multiple packages. A video is also included in the link so you can get more info.
