Three Launchers for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Samsung's 2017 flagship is an amazing phone with amazing specs, probably the best Android phone of this year, but it's UI has a reputation. It's heavily customized and (on previous Samsung devices) it can slow down the phone and shorten it's battery live.

There are ways to try and not use the interface and change the way your device looks but the easiest way (and the best way) is to use a launcher.

A launcher has different features with the ability to customize them and tweak them to your liking letting you to make your Galaxy S8 more unique then others. Here are three launchers (not in order) that you might like.

1. Nova Launcher

This one is probably the most popular then any other launcher out there. With Nova Launcher you are able to customize your S8 extensively with the ablity of changing the speed of the home screen, adding icon packs, the way you use your app drawer, and much more. You also have the ability to upgrade to Nova Launcher Prime and join the beta program to get features that are not yet available to the public!

2. Evie Launcher

Evie brings both simplicity and customization in to one, easy to use launcher. For customization, you can change the way icons look and add widgets/apps to the homescreen. This is a really simple launcher that is meant to boost productivity by keeping everything simple. You have the ability to search for apps and contacts, and in the app drawer, everything is lined up in a list organized by alphabetical order.

3. Arrow Launcher

Arrow launcher brings together aspects from Google's traditional launcher and some from other platforms, iOS and Windows Phone, it's also a fast and fluid interface. Once setup, you are greeted with a pure Android like homescreen with an ability to swipe left to enter a assistant that comes with the launcher. Swipe up from the dock and you have a control center like actions to turn on and off actions and open apps. The app drawer is organized similar to the one found on Windows Phone with some of Google's launcher mixed in.
