Pokemon GO Turns One

It has been one year since the mobile game sensation Pokemon GO has been released. If you guys think that the game is unpopular and no one plays it anymore, think again! The CEO of Niantic Labs, the developers of Pokemon GO, said that their are 65 million monthly users worldwide, we can see that it's do well.

With the one year anniversary, Niantic announced a new, limited edition Pokemon, a Pikachu wearing Ash's hat (in the picture above). Niantic is going to release the new Pokemon on July 7 at 1:00 PM PDT and it will end July 24 1:00 PM. They are also holding special events around the world, a few of them are the Pokemon GO Fest Chicago and Pikachu Outbreak in Yokohama, Japan.
