The #GalaxyNote7 is Going back on Market Shelves

BREAKING NEWS: Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is going back on market shelves in South Korea, the home of Samsung.

If you don't remember what happen to the Galaxy Note 7, there were battery issues with the device leading for the phone to explode on the first wave of devices. After the device was recalled the first time, Samsung reportedly "fixed" the issue in the new devices and handed them back to customers who previously bought a Note 7. But a few days later, there were reports of the "fixed" devices starting to explode, causing problems for both consumers and Samsung. Early 2017, Samsung released a statement saying that the problem for the second round of devices was a hardware issue, puncturing the batteries and making it Samsung's biggest problem in company history.

After, Samsung started a 8-point battery check for all new Samsung devices. Making sure that all new phones that are going to be manufactured will be safe for public use.

Almost a year later after the Note 7's release, Samsung is releasing a refurbished version of the Note 7 called the Galaxy Note FE (Fan Edition) in South Korea. It's going to have almost all the same specs and adding two things. The device will have a new battery that went through the 8-point check and it will also include the company's AI assistant, Bixby.

The device will be 699,600 won (about $610 USD) and will include a case and a new s-pen called the "s-pen plus". The device will be released on July 7th.
