#BreathOfTheWild DLC Pack is now out
Good news for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fans, the first expansion pack of the year has finally been released! This brings addition to the game for players to play after they beat Ganon or to enhance their gameplay if they haven't finished it yet. Here is what you can expect after it's been downloaded to your console.
Trial of the Sword
The Trial of the Sword is kinda like a mini-game within the game. After you get the Master Sword, you place the Master Sword back in it's original spot you found it, you enter a new game without any armor and weapons. You defeat enemies and collect items from them as you play, after you destroy all of them in each level you enter a new level. According to Nintendo's website, after you pass almost all 45 levels, the Master Sword's power will be awaken and always remain in it's powered up glowing state.
Master Mode
Are you ready for a challenge? With Master Mode you play the game in a fun, new way. In Normal mode, enemies are normally easy to beat and on land. In Master Mode, enemies can reach new heights, literally. Enemies and chests are going to on floating platforms in the sky and the normal Red Bokoblins we all know and love are know, the hard to beat, Blue Bokoblins. The main point of Master Mode? Destroy as many enemies as fast as you can.
Hero's Path Mode
The Hero's Path Mode allows players to see what paths they took and where they've spent the most time in. This feature can record up to 200 hours of gameplay and remember where you've went before you purchased the expansion pack.
Travel Medallion
In multiple treasure chests placed around the world, you can open something called a Travel Medallion. A Travel Medallion has the same functionality if you transfer from shrine to shrine or to tower to tower.
Korok Mask
The Korok Mask is one of the items hidden in a treasure chest. Once Link puts on the mask, it shakes when it's close to a hidden Korok Location.
New Armor
With the pack, Link gets new armor. The armor is based off of previous Zelda titles and is hidden around the world within chests.
In order to get this pack you need to buy it in a bundle on the Nintendo eShop, it includes both the first expansion pack and a pre-order for the one coming out later this year. It's available for $19.99.
