Spotify Developing a 'Driving Mode'

Thanks to Reddit user Chris54721, Spotify is currently developing and testing a new driving feature. With the popularity of using your phone to stream music to your radio, we are all tempted to pick up our phones to change a song or look to see what’s playing next. To make things safer, the most popular streaming platform want’s to help.

According to the screenshots above, once you press the car button in the bottom-right corner of the now playing screen to launch the feature. It would bring up a more simplified screen and bigger buttons for driving, it also looks like that their would be a voice-control feature that would read the playlist and song that’s playing and to control your device without touching it.

Spotify’s driving feature is actually in testing and was meant for Spotify employees, it was an accident for them to release this feature to the public. Since Spotify tests new features all the time, we can’t tell if this feature will actually be public.
