The Ticwatch S & E are now on Kickstarter

The Ticwatch 2 was one of the most interesting smartwatches that was released in 2016, but it’s drawback is that it wasn’t running Android Wear. Instead it was running Ticwatch OS, which was a customized version of Android that implemented features from the Apple Watch and Android Wear, it also used a third-party app store that developers didn’t support. Well, it’s 2017 and Ticwatch announced two new watches that are now on Kickstarter, the Ticwatch S and E.

Both of these watches run Android Wear 2.0, and that fixes a lot of the problems the Ticwatch 2 had. It now uses Google Play for app support and it supports Google Assistant instead of their last voice assistant.

There are two different watches, the Ticwatch S and Ticwatch E. The S stands for sport and the E stands for express. Even though the S is more expensive than the E they both have very similar specs, the only things that’s different is wear the GPS antenna is placed. The antenna for the sport is placed in the sports watch band, while it’s in the watch face for the express.

The main selling point about these watches are the price. Right now on Kickstarter, the Express is $99.99 and the Sport is $119.99, the retail price is $159.99 and $199.99, making these watches the cheapest Android Wear watches yet.

They are right now available on Kickstarter and expected to ship in November of this year.
